Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is “vibe coding” in plain English?

It’s an intuitive, playful way to code with AI as a helper. Kids start from what they want to build, get momentum fast, and learn by doing—with guidance.

  • What experience does my child need?

None. We meet each student where they are, and small groups keep everyone engaged.

  • What software access and harwdware is needed for this camp?

Access to Replit pro($25 per month) is needed. Access to AI and other APIs might be required depending on the App your child builds. Most APIs can start with a minimum of $5 credit. Tje teacher will email the parents on day 2 and list down the APIs needed for this child's project.

  • Is AI safe for kids?

We use supervised, age-appropriate tools, teach safe prompting, and focus on creativity and learning—not data sharing.

  • What will my child take home?

A working project they can demo, a portfolio page, and a kit of resources to keep learning.

  • How do you keep kids engaged all day?

Short sprints, frequent wins, movement breaks, and projects they choose.

  • What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Cancellation policy: 15+ days before first class: tuition minus $100 (admin fee). 7–14 days before: 50% credit toward future camp (valid 12 months), no cash refunds. 0–6 days before or after start: No refunds or credits. You can switch dates once, 14+ days before first class if space allows. No makeup days for missed classes. If we cancel: full refund or free reschedule. To cancel or request changes, email hello@theaidya.com. Email timestamp determines which window applies.

  • Can parents see progress?

We are proud of our work and thus would love for the parent to sit in for some of the time of the class. We greatly care about the learning experience of the child and thus will only allow limited number of observers per class. Please get in touch with the organizer if you want to experience the class for some time.
